BMI has announced their showcases and day parties so I'll try to cover some of the bands they've scheduled. Just a quick glance and a lot of these aren't on the SXSW website as official artists yet. One of them is this singer-songwriter originally from Atlanta and now in Nashville. She's playing Ray Benson's Birthday Party (we going this year?) along with Robert Ellis and I'm sure some unannounced guests.
