Born and raised in Morrison, Colorado—a tourist town in the foothills outside of Denver that’s home to Red Rocks Amphitheater—Riccio fell in love with country and roots music at an early age.
According to this article she attended Berklee College of Music, moved to Nashville, and won the Newport Folk Festival John Prine Fellowship which allowed her to make her first album. Not a bad start.
"For Me It's You" is a great unrequited love song.
"Sweet" is more uptempo. Good lyrics.
Here's the title song from her album as played on CBS Saturday Morning. She's an artist on the rise for sure. She's also playing SXSanJose but not sure what day.
