Another Artist on the Rise at Luck Reunion. According to this bio:
A singer-songwriter who crafts moody, alternative pop, Victoria started writing at the age of 12 in her native Marietta, Georgia after her mother bought her a cheap guitar. For years, she wrote and made the trek from Marietta to Nashville twice a month. It became clear it was time to make a permanent move and at the age of 15, Victoria and her family moved to Nashville.
In the bio it states she had early success, then had to quit to enter a substance abuse program, then started her career again only to get pregnant and have a child. Now she's maybe 29? and she's starting up again.
"Song for No One" is nice. So is "Oblivion". She reminds me of a mix of Lana Del Rey and Mazzy Star. She did do a cover of "Fade into You".
This was my favorite.
