SXSW2024: Seafoam Walls

This band is playing SXSanJose but that's all I can find.  According to Pitchfork, they received a boost when Thurston Moore took an interest in them.  It says of the band:

In a nod to bandleader Jayan Bertrand’s Haitian heritage, the Miami quartet self-classify their sound as “Caribbean jazzgaze,” a descriptor that might suggest something more visceral than what actually transpires on XVI. For the most part, Seafoam Walls’ songs present a serene swirl of enchantingly chill guitar lines, pitter-pattered drum programming, and Bertrand’s vaporous vocal melodies.

A mellow style that reminds me of Khruangbin. "Dependency" is nice.

"You Can't Have Your Cake and Ego Too (Happy Birthday)" is good, too.

This was their Tiny Desk Contest submission.
