This singer out of Alabama is playing CBoys Wednesday at 4pm and is also playing SXSanJose and the ACL Radio Morning Broadcasts. Some pretty good gigs. According to this article:

That's some serious backing. Most everything I've found is covers. For example, "Love and Happiness" and "Use Me" from Live at the Apollo.
The article says he has recorded an EP but it hasn't been released yet. No date was given.
